CostHammer – Terms of Use

Welcome to CostHammer (“the App”). By downloading or using CostHammer, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

 

1. Purpose of the App

CostHammer is a mobile tool that helps contractors and tradespeople create estimates, quotes, and invoices quickly and easily from their device.The App provides calculation and organizational features only.CostHammer does not provide legal, accounting, or tax advice.

 

2. Use of the App

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Use it for lawful purposes

  • Not misuse or disrupt the App

  • Accept responsibility for the accuracy of the estimates and invoices you generate

CostHammer does not require creating an account and does not collect personal data.

 

3. Subscriptions & Payments

CostHammer uses Apple’s in-app purchase system for subscriptions.

  • All billing is handled by Apple, not CostHammer

  • We do not have access to your payment information

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings

Apple Support handles all billing-related questions.

 

4. Privacy

CostHammer does not collect:

  • Personal information

  • Location data

  • Contacts

  • Analytics or tracking data

  • Any project, pricing, or invoice data

Everything you create stays on your device unless you export it.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the App to create fraudulent or misleading documents

  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or modify the App

  • Introduce malware or harmful content

You are responsible for backing up exported documents and keeping your device secure.

 

6. No Warranty

CostHammer is provided “as-is.”We do not guarantee:

  • Error-free or uninterrupted service

  • Compatibility with every device

  • Accuracy of calculations for legal or financial purposes

Use of the App is at your own risk.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CostHammer is not liable for:

  • Lost profits

  • Business interruptions

  • Data loss

  • Device issues

  • Errors resulting from user input

  • Subscription or billing issues handled by Apple

 

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, features, and branding in the App are the property of CostHammer.You may not copy, redistribute, or modify any part of the App.

 

9. Termination

We may suspend or stop access to the App if you violate these Terms.You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.

 

10. Updates

We may update the App or these Terms periodically.Continuing to use the App after updates means you agree to the revised Terms.
