CostHammer Privacy Policy

CostHammer (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a mobile application designed to help contractors, subcontractors, and construction professionals quickly create estimates, quotes, and invoices on the spot. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the CostHammer app.

CostHammer is committed to transparency and simplicity. We respect your privacy and do not collect or share personal data unless explicitly required for your subscription purchase.

 

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

CostHammer does not collect or store any of the following information:

  • Personal data (such as your name, email, address, or phone number)

  • Contacts

  • Photos

  • Location data

  • Device identifiers

  • Usage analytics

  • Tracking data

  • Third-party advertising data

  • Any information from your estimates, quotes, or invoices

All information you generate inside the app remains on your device only.

 

2. Account & Subscription Information

CostHammer uses Apple’s in-app purchase (IAP) system for subscriptions.

Because purchases are handled entirely by Apple:

  • We do not see or store your payment information

  • We do not have access to your Apple ID

  • We do not collect any billing or identity details

Apple handles all subscription billing securely through your App Store account.

 

3. Data Storage

All project data, pricing, invoices, and estimates that you create in the app are stored locally on your device unless you manually export them.

We never transmit or store your data on external servers.

If you delete the app, all data stored in the app may be removed from your device.

 

4. No Third-Party Tools

CostHammer does not use:

  • Analytics SDKs

  • Tracking frameworks

  • Advertising SDKs

  • Social media plugins

  • Cloud storage

  • External servers

  • Third-party sharing tools

Your app activity remains entirely private.

 

5. Children’s Privacy

CostHammer is intended for professional use by adults.The app does not target or collect data from children under 13.

 

6. Security

Because CostHammer stores data directly on your device, security depends on your device’s built-in protections (Face ID, passcode, encryption).

We recommend keeping your operating system updated and using device security features.

 

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.”
